Happy Tuesday!
I was / am overjoyed and ecstatic to have your students in class this week!
New Information:
- MAP TESTING: We will continue MAP testing TOMORROW & THURSDAY! These students have been working so hard and I am so PROUD of them. Please have a conversation at home about taking their time and trying their best and have them eat breakfast as we are starting at 8:35am.

- HALF DAY REMINDER: Just a reminder that December 13th, 14th, & 15th are half days with dismissal at 11am. Holiday break begins on the 18th with no school. School begins again on January 3rd.

- In ELA, we began reading stories about expressing ourselves through music, art… We learned about different types of drums that are used around the world, including: Japan, Native American, Africa… We also learned about P.S.22, which is a kid’s choir in Staten Island, NY. They performed at The White House and a Hollywood Awards Show.
- In Math, we continued learning about money & time.
- In Art Masterpiece, we got to make our very own peace signs while we learned about the 70’s decade.
- For Holidays Around the World, we learned about England today.

School Information:
- Please remind your students to check the Lost and Found. All remaining Recker campus Lost and Found items will be donated to GoodWill every Wednesday.
