Happy Tuesday!

I am overjoyed and ecstatic to have your students in class this week!

New Information:

  • MAP TESTING: We will continue MAP testing TOMORROW & THURSDAY! These students have been working so hard and I am so PROUD of them. Please have a conversation at home about taking their time and trying their best and have them eat breakfast as we are starting at 8:35am.
  • JINGLE JOG NECKLACES: The Jingle Jog is on Monday, December 12th during PE. Participants are encouraged to wear their fun holiday attire – fancy hats or handbands, tutus, holiday shirts, or socks, etc… Student Council will be selling jingle bell necklaces for $1.00. Be sure to order your necklaces by December 9th.
  • SPIRIT WEEK:
    • Monday – The Grinch vs. Santa: wear red or green
    • Tuesday – Ugly Sweaters
    • Wednesday – Favorite Holiday Movie Character
    • Thursday  – Winter Wonderland – wear white
    • Friday – Super School Spirit – green, gold, STCS shirt
  • HALF DAY REMINDER: Just a reminder that December 14th, 15th, & 16th are half days with dismissal at 11am. Holiday break begins on the 19th with no school. School begins on January 2nd.

  • WINTER MUSIC CONCERT: The Winter Music Concert is on December 13th at the Recker Campus Gym. Students will need to be dropped off at 4:30pm and the concert will start at 5pm. Drive line reminds the same and there will be no teacher here until 4:30pm. Students will need to be dressed  in solid black bottoms, solid white top and solid blue accents (examples: neck tie, hair bows, jewelry, shawl, scarf).   • We:
    • reviewed our grammar in regards to: quotations, past / future tenses, nouns, verbs & adjectives
    • learned about music, PS chorus 22 from NY, and how to express ourselves
    • reviewed our math concepts in regards to: time, money & word problems. Have them count their piggy banks or spare change in the car. 🙂
    • continued our unit of Holidays Around the World with: Canada, China & England
